"After reading all the negative reviews, I took it upon myself to try it any way. I had a pleasant experience, there was a lady at the register and a guy cooking, Im thinking just 2 workers. They have online delivery services as well, so the lady is pretty busy but in my opinion she's handle it. She wasn't mean at all, just trying to get me in and out. Big portion sizes, rip tips were good, bbq sauce is good, Mac n cheese, was ok, not bad tho, I've had woriser yams were good. I don't know no soul food place in STL that is open everyday till 9p, 10ish, mostly close at 6 and they are half the time ain't really open are there always out of stuff, so I really appreciate this restaurant. I work in the area so I will be back. Thanks for being open, and everyone else I wouldnt go by the revie, yall have to just try it yourself, expecially when your looking for sould food/ bbq from us kind of people."
"Best bbq I have had in 20 years.
I cant wait to get back and load up on the ribs tips and more.
Super nice owner went out of his way to give me samples.
I wish they were closer to St. Charles."
"If you want authentic delicious Jamaican food then this is the place for you. It's a humble shop with a delicious variety of food to choose from."
"Excellent option for someone who is a little adventurous. No Big Macs no Subway no generic. Just fun food! Jerk chicken my fav"
"I think they changed owners ehich is awesome. I did not think I would ever come back here because the rice was burnt and the food was not the best. I am glad i took another chance because with the new ownership. The food is awesome great prices and they are soooooo friendly. Starting to be my favorite place to eat."
"This was amazing food. The mac and cheese and yams were delicious, the rib tips were tender, the wings were sweet and spicy, and the jerk chicken is to die for. I would crawl through broken glass for that sauce on the side. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was fast and friendly. I look forward to exploring the menu further."
